Ridwan mengatakan tahap 1 Jalur LRT Bandung Raya akan menghubungkan Stasiun Kereta Cepat Tegal Luar dengan pusat Kota Bandung di Kebon Kawung sejauh 16 kilometer. Ridwan menambahkan nantinya akan ada stasiun tambahan di depan Masjid Raya Al Jabbar Gedebage.
Ridwan menargetkan Jalur LRT Bandung Raya fase 1 mulai beroperasi bersamaan dengan Kereta Cepat Jakarta – Bandung yakni di akhir 2020 atau awal 2021.
