Polisi Tangkap Pencuri Rel di Proyek Jalur Ganda Bogor-Sukabumi
[24/3] Polisi menahan lima orang usai melakukan pencurian batang rel di proyek jalur ganda Jalur Bogor-Sukabumi. Seperti dilansir dari Kompas.com, pencurian batang rel terjadi di KM 20+600 petak antara Stasiun Cicurug dan Stasiun Cigombong.
Kapolres Bogor AKBP Harun dalam pernyataan tertulisnya kelima pelaku berinisial AS, K, RI, S dan M sudah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka. Bahkan diketahui pelaku berinisial RI adalah aparat desa setempat.
Sejumlah barang bukti diamankan polisi seperti mobil, potongan rel, mesin las, dan tabung gas. Modus yang digunakan pelaku adalah dengan memotong rel jadi beberapa bagian lalu dimasukkan ke mobil sebelum dibawa ke pengepul besi bekas.
Sebelum melakukan aksinya, kelima pelaku sempat berkumpul di rumah pelaku RI untuk merencanakan aksinya pada tanggal 19 Maret sebelum kelimanya melakukan aksinya pada tanggal 21 Maret malam. Saat melakukan aksinya, kelima pelaku sempat terpergok oleh petugas JPJ yang sedang melakukan inspeksi.
Atas aksinya ini, kelima pelaku dijerat Pasal 363 KUHP Tentang Pencurian dengan ancaman pidana kurungan 6 tahun penjara.(RED/BTS)
