KAI Commuter Operasikan KRL Yogyakarta-Solo Stamformasi 8 Kereta
[15/2] Seiring dengan tingginya animo pengguna KRL Yogyakarta-Solo, KAI Commuter mengoperasikan rangkaian KRL stamformasi 8 kereta di lintas ini. Pengoperasian KRL stamformasi 8 kereta (SF8) ini dilakukan sejak Senin (15/2) tadi dengan menggunakan rangkaian KRL seri 205 SLO9 dan SLO32.
Mengutip rilis resmi KAI Commuter, pengguna KRL Yogyakarta-Solo jumlahnya terus meningkat selama 4 hari operasinya. Pada 10 Februari, tercatat ada 3.236 pengguna. Lalu pada 11 Februari, terdapat 4.464 pengguna, 12 Februari ada 5.132 pengguna, 13 Februari terdapat 5.618 pengguna, dan 14 Februari hingga 19.00 tercatat 5.898 pengguna. Selama lima hari operasional tercatat ada 24.348 pengguna KRL Yogyakarta-Solo.
Oleh karena itu, KAI Commuter melakukan pemanjangan rangkaian untuk optimalisasi kapasitas di tengah pembatasan kapasitas angkut KRL selama pandemi yang hanya 74 orang sebagai upaya jaga jarak aman. Satu rangkaian SF8 dapat memuat 592 orang, sedang satu rangkaian SF4 dapat memuat 296 orang. Selain pemanjangan rangkaian, KAI Commuter juga melakukan penambahan jadwal KRL menjadi 22 perjalanan dalam sehari. Berikut adalah jadwalnya.
Pengoperasian KRL SF8 ini dilakukan dengan menggandeng dua rangkaian KRL seri 205 menjadi satu, sehingga terdapat kabin tanpa pintu di tengah, sehingga pengguna yang berada di 4 kereta belakang tidak dapat langsung berpindah ke 4 kereta palng depan.
Selain itu, peron di sebagian stasiun juga belum dapat menampung rangkaian SF8. Oleh karenanya KAI Commuter mengimbau pengguna untuk menaiki 4 kereta paling depan untuk yang bertujuan stasiun Maguwo hingga Purwosari.
