Saat awal pandemi melanda semua pelayanan kereta penumpang baik lokal maupun jarak menengah dihentikan. KA Kuala Stabas yang merupakan KA lokal sudah kembali beroperasi beberapa waktu yang lalu.
Kabar baik bagi warga Lampung yang akan berpergian ke Palembang dan sebaliknya, mulai tanggal 1 Januari 2021 layanan KA Rajabasa jurusan Tanjung Karang – Kertapati pp akan beroperasi kembali. Jadi calon penumpang tidak perlu kerepotan ke Palembang dengan cara berpindah transportasi di Baturaja dan sebaliknya.

Untuk menggunakan layanan KA Rajabasa dalam masa pandemi, maka calon penumpang wajib memenuhi persyaratan yang telah ditentukan:
Wajib menunjukkan surat hasil tes PCR negatif atau rapid test antibodi non-reaktif yang berlaku 14 hari.
Wajib dalam kondisi sehat. Calon penumpang tidak boleh menderita batuk, pilek, flu, kehilangan daya penciuman, diare dan demam.
Pada saat pengecekan suhu tidak boleh melebihi 37,3o C.
Wajib Menggunakan masker dan face shield selama perjalanan.
Direkomendasikan menggunakan pakaian lengan panjang atau jaket.
Disarankan datang lebih awal ke stasiun paling lambat 60 menit sebelum jadwal keberangkatan KA.
Diharapkan calon penumpang KA Rajabasa memperhatikan kembali persyaratan yang ditetapkan sebelum melakukan perjalanan untuk keamanan dan kenyamanan bersama serta mencegah penularan virus SARS-CoV 2 yang menyebabkan COVID-19. Untuk pemesanan tiket KA Rajabasa hanya bisa melalui aplikasi KAI Access, aplikasi yang bekerjasama dengan KAI dan agen resmi yang bisa dipesan mulai dari H-7 sebelum hari keberangkatan.
