Monumen Lokomotif B2207: Si Mesin Jahit Yang Merana
Masyarakat Cibubur saat ini tengah menanti beroperasinya LRT Jabodebek yang akan menghubungkan Stasiun Harjamukti dengan Dukuh Atas. Namun di tengah hiruk pikuk masyarakat dan pembangunan LRT yang sudah hampir jadi, tersembunyi bukti sejarah perkeretaapian Indonesia di kawasan Cibubur.
Ya, inilah monumen lokomotif B2207 alias “Si Mesin Jahit”. Tak banyak pecinta kereta api ataupun masyarakat yang mengetahui keberadaan monumen ini karena lokasinya yang berada di dalam Bumi Perkemahan Cibubur atau biasa disebut Buperta Cibubur.
Seperti dikutip dari Majalah KA Edisi 44. Maret 2010, lokomotif ini dibuat oleh pabrikan Hartmann, Jerman pada tahun 1899 dan dioperasikan oleh Nederland Indische Spoorweg (NIS). Lokomotif dengan nomor awal NIS 312 ini memiliki berat 25 ton, panjang 7680 mm, tinggi 3400 mm, dan memiliki kecepatan maksimal 55 km/jam. Diketahui terakhir lokomotif ini dimiliki oleh Dipo Lokomotif Kudus. Sementara dikutip dari International Steam, lokomotif ini juga diketahui pernah berbasis di Tegal.
Lokomotif ini merupakan lokomotif inside cylinder compound dengan ukuran silinder 280×400 mm dan 415×400 mm. Lokomotif ini memiliki tekanan uap 12,7 kg/cm2, grate area 0,9 m2, dan permukaan pemanas 39,2 m2. Lokomotif dengan diameter roda penggerak 1058 mm ini memiliki berat 25,1 ton dengan berat adhesi 16,8 ton.
Julukan Si Mesin Jahit sendiri disematkan karena lokomotif ini memiliki skirt atau rok yang menutupi bagian bawah lokomotif. Rok ini membuat lokomotif B2207 terlihat seperti sebuah mesin jahit jadul sehingga dari situ lah julukan Si Mesin Jahit berasal.
Menurut penuturan salah seorang staff Buperta Cibubur, Pak Iyar, lokomotif ini pertama kali didatangkan ke Cibubur pada tahun 1973 bertepatan dengan Jambore Nasional Pramuka pertama di Jakarta atas inisiasi ibu negara Tien Soeharto. Pak Iyar juga menjelaskan lokomotif ini dibawa melalui jalur darat dari Jawa Timur ke Jakarta.
“Ini (lokomotif) pertama kali dateng tahun 1973 pas jambore pertama, idenya Ibu Tien. Dibawanya pake truk sama crane,” jelas Pak Iyan.
Lokomotif B2207 dipajang bersama satu unit kereta kayu buatan Gottfried pada tahun 1913. Ada yang menarik dari monumen ini. Dari hasil investigasi yang dilakukan oleh Tim REDaksi, lokomotif dan kereta kayu ini dahulunya dimiliki oleh dua perusahaan yang berbeda. B2207 awalnya dimiliki oleh NIS sedangkan kereta kayunya dimiliki oleh Staatspoorwegen atau SS, dilihat dari bogie kereta yang bertuliskan “SS”.
Dari dokumentasi yang dipotret oleh Rob Dickinson pada tahun 1999, kereta kayu yang dipajang bersama B2207 awalnya memiliki livery merah-putih dan lokomotifnya sendiri masih terlihat utuh lengkap dengan nomor serinya. Lalu dalam dokumentasi lainnya dari KAI Heritage, kereta kayu diubah warnanya menjadi kuning-biru dan cowcatcher lokomotif turut diwarnai kuning.
Kondisi B2207 saat Tim REDaksi mengunjungi Buperta Cibubur bisa dibilang menyedihkan, bukan lagi mengenaskan. Karat memenuhi seluruh bagian tubuh lokomotif. Cat yang kusam dimakan karat serta lokasinya yang berada di bawah rimbunnya pepohonan memberikan kesan menyeramkan dan angker.
Sejumlah bagian lokomotif terlihat sudah keropos dan habis dimakan karat. Bahkan beberapa bagian lokomotif sudah hancur akibat karat yang memenuhi. Nomor seri lokomotif sudah lama hilang sehingga hampir tidak mungkin diidentifikasi jika tak melihat database. Stiker yang dipasang oleh orang iseng menambah kotor bagian luar lokomotif.
Plat produksi Hartmaan masih terlihat utuh dan terpasang. Bahkan lonceng yang dipasang di dekat lampu depan masih bisa berbunyi ketika Tim REDaksi mencoba memukulnya.
Setelah melihat bagian luar, Tim REDaksi masuk ke dalam kabin lokomotif. Kondisinya tak lebih baik dari bagian luarnya. Lantai kabin sudah jebol akibat dimakan karat. Atap kabin terlihat seperti tinggal menunggu waktu untuk roboh. Bahkan ketika Tim REDaksi membuka tungku pembakaran, seekor ular terlihat tengah bersarang.
Meskipun demikian tungku pembakaran, sejumlah katup, dan rem kereta masih utuh meskipun dipenuhi dengan karat.
Kereta kayu yang digandeng bersama lokomotif B2207 kini seakan telah berubah menjadi gerbong datar. Struktur kereta kayu sudah menghilang sehingga yang tersisa dari kereta kayu ini hanya underframenya saja yang di beberapa bagiannya sudah hancur dan patah akibat karat.
Menurut penuturan Pak Iyar, struktur kayu di kereta kayu sudah roboh sekitar 1-2 tahun akibat lapuk dimakan rayap. “Dulu ini ada kereta kayunya cuma sekarang udah gak ada roboh dimakan rayap. Kira-kira 1-2 taun yang lalu,” tutur Pak Iyar.
Pak Iyar mengatakan sebenarnya ada keinginan dari pihak Buperta untuk mempreservasi monumen B2207. Namun keinginan tersebut terkendala biaya yang besar. Terlebih dengan adanya wabah COVID-19 seperti saat ini membuat kondisi keuangan menjadi semakin sulit.
“Kita kan penghasilan cuma dari yang camping aja mas. Kita sendiri udah tutup hampir 3 bulan dan baru ini aja buka. Jangankan buat lokomotif mas buat gaji karyawan aja susah. Kita sih berharap ada yang mau ngebantu benerin lokomotif ini,” jelas Pak Iyar.
Rencana preservasi B2207 sebenarnya sudah beberapa kali diwacanakan. Salah satunya oleh Pemerintah Kota Solo. Seperti dilansir dari Tempo.co, Pemkot Solo sempat berencana untuk memboyong B2207 ke Kota Solo untuk dihidupkan kembali dan dijadikan kereta wisata pada 2016 lalu.
Bahkan Pemkot Solo sudah menyiapkan anggaran sebesar Rp 1 miliar untuk memboyong B2207 ke Kota Solo. Sayangnya tidak ada satu pun pihak yang tertarik dengan tender pengangkutan ini.
