Angkutan Terusan Purwokerto – Wonosobo Resmi Beroperasi

Peresmian dilakukan melalui seremoni sederhana yang dilakukan di Stasiun Purwokerto pada Jumat (23/11) kemarin.
Peresmian dihadiri oleh sejumlah pejabat terkait seperti Vice President Daop 5 Purwokerto MN Huda D Santoso, Dirut KA Pariwisata Totok Suryono, Dirops KA Pariwisata Sucipto Susilohadi, Kepala Dinas Pariwisata Banyumas Drs Asis Kusumandani, serta jajaran PT KAI Daop 5 Purwokerto, KA Pariwisata, dan Dinas Pariwisata Banyumas. Resmi beroperasinya angkutan terusan ini ditandai dengan pemotongan tumpeng oleh VP Daop 5 dan dilanjutkan dengan pemotongan pita oleh Kepala Dinas Pariwisata Banyumas.
Sebanyak 3 unit minibus digunakan sebagai armada angkutan terusan Stasiun Purwokerto – Wonosobo. Dalam sehari ada 10 perjalanan angkutan terusan, 5 kali dari Stasiun Purwokerto dan 5 kali dari Wonosobo yang jadwalnya disesuaikan dengan kedatangan dan keberangkatan kereta dari Stasiun Purwokerto. Tarifnya sendiri dipatok Rp 50.000 untuk sekali jalan.
Selain Wonosobo, angkutan feeder ini juga akan berhenti di dua kota lainnya yakni Banjarnegara dan Purbalingga. Jadi nantinya penumpang yang hendak naik akan dijemput di sejumlah titik perhentian seperti Stasiun Purwokerto, SPBU Kalimanah dan SPBU 4451333 di Purbalingga, SPBU Hiu di Banjarnegara, Rumah Makan Mb Har Taman Plaza dan Toko Oleh-oleh Harmoni di Wonosobo.
Dalam pidato sambutannya, Kepala Dinas Pariwisata Banyumas berharap dengan hadirnya angkutan terusan ini dapat menjadi alternatif transportasi bagi pengguna kereta api untuk menuju Wonosobo dan sekitarnya. Selain itu dirinya juga menjelaskan bahwa saat ini wilayah Purwokerto dan Banyumas tengah berkembang dengan pesat, jadi diharapkan juga kehadiran angkutan terusan ini dapat meningkatkan kunjungan wisata di Banyumas dan sekitarnya.
