Hari ini dunia pertiketan kereta api kita sedang dihebohkan dengan gelaran akbar KAI Travel Fair 2017 yang diadakan di Balai Sidang Jakarta atau Jakarta Convention Center. Bagaimana tidak? Semua tiket kereta kelas eksekutif untuk berbagai jurusan di Jawa dan Sumatera banting harga besar-besaran.
Diskon yang ditawarkan pun bukan main. Hingga 75% dari harga asli. Pemberitaan yang masif pun dilakukan ke seantero Bangsa Indonesia. Tak terkecuali RE Digest. Tentu tawaran ini menarik perhatian banyak orang yang ingin naik kereta eksekutif dengan harga murah. Mereka berbondong-bondong datang ke JCC demi tiket murah.
Ratusan orang bahkan datang sedari Subuh demi dapat tiket murah. Padahal event ini sendiri baru dibuka oleh Menteri BUMN Rini Soemarno pada pukul 8 dan pintu baru dibuka pukul 10. Euforia massal yang terjadi membuat segalanya menjadi kacau. Bahkan hingga terjadi kemacetan dari pintu masuk JCC sampai ke Cawang. Para pengunjung mengantri berjam-jam demi membayar Rp 10.000 supaya bisa masuk ke JCC. Antrian mengular hingga ke trotoar depan JCC. Namun di tengah penderitaan yang terjadi, para railfans seolah diberikan “jalan pintas” untuk bisa masuk ke sini. Cukup dengan memakai atribut dan KTA anda bisa melenggang bebas masuk JCC. Hal ini tentu menyebabkan ketimpangan bahkan pengkastaan pelanggan.

Apalagi di event ini pembayaran tiket tidak dapat dilakukan secara cash alias tiket hanya bisa dibayar lewat ATM, M-Banking, dan E-Banking. Sangatlah menyebalkan terutama bagi anda yang terlanjur membawa uang cash. Ditambah dengan pemesanan tiket yang hanya bisa dilakukan melalui aplikasi mobile yang terhubung dengan SSID di event.
Tentunya ini sangat menyulitkan terutama bagi mereka yang memakai handphone Nokia jadul dan mungkin sedikit gagap teknologi. Akhirnya apa? Sebagian besar terpaksa memesan tiket di handphone orang lain serta menitipkan pembayaran anda ke orang yang kebetulan saldo rekeningnya banyak. Hebatnya lagi masalah pemesanan tiket di luar JCC dan pembayaran tiket tidak disosialisasikan dengan benar.
Terlebih bisa dibilang event ini merupakan ajang mengerjai orang terbesar yang pernah ada. Anda sudah capek-capek berdesakan di JCC lalu anda melihat teman anda yang tidak pergi ke JCC dapat memesan tiket lewat aplikasi Traveloka sembari main game online. Menyebalkan? Pastinya. Penyebab dari “bocornya” pemesanan ini berasal dari downnya access point di event akibat membludaknya jumlah pengunjung yang mengakses SSID.
Hal tersebut diperparah dengan hanya ditempatkannya 1 access point di event sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya over capacity. Akibat downnya access point ini, block port yang seharusnya membatasi akses pemesanan tiket promo terpaksa dibuka guna mengurangi beban access point dan menyebabkan tiket promo bocor keluar event.
Akhirnya banyak orang yang jadi kesal dan “gondok” akibat buruknya penyelengaraan dan sosialisasi yang dilakukan. Hujan protes berdatangan dari para pengunjung yang kecewa. Untung saja mereka tidak membawa obor dan garpu rumput. Sebenarnya dalam benak saya pribadi juga bertanya-tanya apa faedahnya mengadakan event seperti ini hanya untuk menjual tiket promo? Kenapa tidak dijual saja melalui merchant tanpa harus mengadakan event seperti ini? Alih-alih menghindari drama, justru yang terjadi adalah munculnya drama baru yang jauh lebih parah ketimbang drama tiket promo setahun lalu.
Bukan masalah tiket promonya, tapi masalah kepercayaan yang telah berikan kepada masyarakat. Masyarakat sudah terlanjur percaya namun yang ada mereka malah merasa seperti dikerjai. Selain itu perlu diingat juga, event ini tidak hanya mengerjai pengunjung, tapi juga menyusahkan pengguna jalan. Bayangkan saja saya biasanya naik Transjakarta dari Cikoko Stasiun Cawang ke Senayan JCC yang biasanya hanya ditempuh selama 45 menit sampai 1 jam termasuk macet di Pancoran. Saat event berlangsung perjalanan sejauh itu menghabiskan waktu sepanjang waktu Sholat Zuhur akibat kemacetan yang terjadi di JCC.
Melihat kekacauan yang terjadi di JCC sepanjang hari ini membuat PT KAI selaku penyelenggara event mengalah. Untuk event di Hari Minggu tiket masuk digratiskan dan pemesanan tiket promo tidak harus dilakukan dari JCC guna mencegah membludaknya pengunjung. Ya memang penyesalan selalu datang belakangan.

Dari peristiwa yang terjadi sepanjang hari ini kita dapat memetik pelajaran mengenai kesiapan kita menyelenggarakan sebuah event.
